  2. Murph looks positively Churchillian in that photo. 👍🏻

I can picture him saying, “They shall look back and say This was Murph’s finest hour.”

  7. Aw, why do you always do that? Now I want to make for him a wee cigar, bow tie and hat. Are you seeing it with me? How cute is that? If he spoke, the vocals would resemble a muted mix of perhaps Alfred Hitchcock and Ozzy.

  9. I just learned the Qwertz style is based on an older German version DIN 2137-2

  10. Yes keyboard style. Use it to open my sides, if you want to read it and learn German.
But all say, the life is to short to learn German language…..hehehehe

Man sagt, das Leben sei zu kurz, um Deutsch zu lernen……😉😌😁

  12. Thank you! I’m not sure which beautiful spot is star here. Maybe the poochy belly, pretty eye, or chin puff. I can’t decide

  13. How gorgeous he is! 🙂
Renee, one of my grandsons had a few lizards some years back. While the family went on holidays I became caretaker for them giving them crickets and mealy worms for breakfast. What a sweet memory!

  14. Thanks! I may be biased, but I think Murph is the most handsome in the world. : )

I am so glad you enjoyed that time with your grandson’s lizards. Thank you for sharing this with me. I love to know of people and lizards bonding.
It is not easy to find others to care for our exotic loved ones. You made travel a possibility for them. Murph needs cuddles to survive, his caretakers have done that. Murph also loves kisses …. only one caretaker did that : ) both my Beardies became vegetarians, which didn’t hurt my feelings because I felt bad for the wormies & crickets are cute.

  15. Oops, so sorry, Dawn – your first and last names are both lovely!

I’m sure that Murph is gorgeous and spoilt; as he should be!!! I do wish I’d known then that they can be vegetarian. That was the only thing I found a little difficult – sacrificing the little crickets and worms…

  16. No need for apologies. If I elaborated as too how spoilt Murph is, you’d surely giggle, or think I’m odd – not sure which. : ) I thought maybe you were similar to me in the way of feeling some sorrow for the little critters. As some lizards age, their desire for eating the living diminishes. Species and their unique character varies however, as to when this occurs. Best wishes to you, I appreciate all your kindness and story sharing.

  17. How interesting. I’ve not heard of that. I’ll tuck it away and, hopefully, remember it if needed.
