Tortured Green Iguana Receives Help

Let us hope this beautiful creature forgets the horror he experienced. It is clear to see, that although he is later healing physically, he looks very saddened. What is wrong with some of the humans?!

TOGETHER, WE CAN MAKE A CHANGE TO SHOW OTHERS THAT THIS PLANET’S LIZARDS ARE AS PRECIOUS AS ALL THE OTHER ANIMALS! THEY ARE HERE FOR A REASON TOO. THEY BRING SMILES TO MANY PEOPLE WHEN WE REALLY GET TO KNOW THEIR PERSONALITIES AND ADMIRE THEIR STRANGE BEAUTY.

  1. Poor thing. I’ve never understood why people want to torture animals.

  3. I only opened this post because it was yours. I find it very hard to read about so much cruelty.

  4. Poor little iguana.

I hope he’s able to heal emotionally after that experience.

  5. That means a lot to me, especially so because I know of your love for your dear Iguana and all of the scaly sweethearts. The goal of such posts is to attempt to show that each one of us is capable of helping by whistle-blowing about abuse or giving the best life possible to if but one sweet reptile. I hope people will thrive to do such a thing, even in simply rescuing one. Also, they are to show those previously unexposed to reptiles that they have feelings. They get depressed & excited too. They want to live, be free, and they can love their humans. Thank you for your support. Murph & I have a friend in you.

  6. Yes, he’s so precious, isn’t he? I think it is possible if, however, he has time out of confinement with a single human that has the sort of love he will feel, who is very giving to him. After much time of this, he may be capable of realizing and receiving a friend in life.

  7. I’ve had so many different kinds of lizards, and I’ve loved them all. Can’t have any more because of our unreliable heating system here.

  8. I am so sorry to know that. I think you love them as much as me. It would be a cruelty bestowed upon me if I could not have Murph or any other to love. Do you want to share the heating dilemma? I’m certain whatever you’re dealing with has already led to researching alternatives. It’s preventing a lizard from having a wonderful Dad.

  9. It’s a building with a lot of quirks. My iguana was an old veteran, he knew how to stay warm (cuddle up with people or dogs). Anyhow, I just wouldn’t risk it.

  11. You won’t find it hard to find fellow animal nuts on this blog, Dawn Renee. Unknowable and Ina are probably as crazy as we are. Maybe even more.
