He is happy. He will be happier if I accomplish more outside time with him before the chill!
Well, Beardies commonly have a lessened desire for live food as they age, however, mine seem to experience that way sooner than expected. Maybe they sense my discomfort watching critters be eaten alive. It’s a terrible way to go! 🙂
He likes grapes, occasional chicken (simmered in water & olive oil) for added protein, bell peppers, carrots, broccoli, mango… it varies what he is in the mood for at any given time.
Also, my Beardies stop eating after a few years unless they are hand-fed. This is not normal lizard behavior. I am not a lizard whisperer & do not know why this happens to me. But, whatever, they’re worth it. I know of no other who experiences this phenomenon. -
