Spring Photos With Lil’ Murph

No, it’s not spring yet. I want it. Murph wants it. And, unless you like to wear a claustrophobic 2 – 5 layers of clothing for warmth much of your winter time, you want it too. Let’s think about spring together and think on life, new and renewed.

Check out these mushrooms! They bring out the fairy (or faerie) in me. The feeble attempts to place a quarter and half-dollar, as well as my hand upon and beside these shroomy beings do not depict the surprising size of them, in my opinion. I was shocked when I saw them in the neighbors’ yard and saddened when they were mowed with the grass. If they were in my yard, I’d probably trim the grass around them with scissors.😁

Murph’s umbrella keeps him from seeing and stressing birds of prey away in the distance. I have to move it often as the goal is for him to receive sunlight at the same time. Not always easy and this system doesn’t work when it’s windy. I never leave him outside alone. To give him as much time as possible outside, I either squint to see the laptop to do work, do yardwork, or actually relax with him. When I do things such as place fallen branches on a tarp to take to the burn pile, he basks on a hammock and pillow inside a dog crate that I reinforced with screening to protect him.

Renew, rejuvenate, rebirth, life force, Lil’ Murph, greenery, nature, butterfly friends, squirrel friends, rainbows, beautiful fish and life-giving water and sun… enjoy:

Lil’ Murph with one of his caretakers when I’m away. She said she couldn’t believe she successfully got his harness on him!

Those last two with Murph in his dragon wings were for you, Gigi.

I ordered a set of 6. I’m mailing some of them to family. When I was younger, I probably would have just tried to look at a solar eclipse. Now that I’m older, I appreciate the vision I have left 🧐 and want to preserve theirs. We just received our tiny box of glasses today. I had no idea they are like this. The outside is reflective. I put them on and was astonished at how dark they are!!

I couldn’t get the short link!! Dang it! But, I want to share what I think is the best deal at 7.99 for a variety pack of 10, I don’t think you’ll find any less expensive than this. And these are Prime, so if you order today, it appears as though you will receive them Thursday or Friday. My 6 pack costs exactly the same (I think $8.55 after tax). As an Amazon affiliate, we receive a small commission at no extra cost to you for what you purchase through our links. So, yes, the more inexpensive, the less the commission, but that’s not the point here. It saves you money, you’ll have some to share, and ultimately, every little bit does help us. So thank you for ordering these or nearly anything else in Amazon’s search bar when you get there. You can get that computer you were thinking about getting. 😉

Or, or… you can get a tiny home!! Check this out: https://amzn.to/4ahfHuN You can literally get this really cute, black and oak, 19’x20′ home with a bedroom, bathroom, kitchenette, and sitting area for 11,900.00 0r $470.94 per mo. for 48 months!!! Haha! Just go look at it. You’ll get it by May 1st. That’s perfect house-raising weather!

Neighbor: “What is that huge delivery you just got from Amazon, George?”

The recipient neighbor, George: “It’s the new living quarters for the mother-in-law. She’ll be happy 50 yards from our house next to the pond and birds.”

*Update: In 1 day, the set I bought is down to 1 in stock & if ordered now, won’t be delivered until Tuesday. And the set in the link above, just went up $1. The demand is going up as we near the day!!

🛒These solar eclipse glasses 😎 below are entirely made in America and meet all the safety specs:

  1. Actually, you HAVE the short link; just a bunch of gobbledygook after it. Just go back and edit the link, deleting everything from the “?” to the end.
This is almost always true for stinky links.😉

  2. Those are great photos of Murph.

He seems to be a natural for the camera.

  3. Thank you, C.A. When I copied the short link & pasted it into the link checker to make sure purchase commissions came our way, we got this: “Fail: The link above was not tagged or was not a valid Amazon link.” but these items are on Amazon! Tiny frustrations.
I will happily try your suggestion because man, it’s a long link, but the best deal I found to share.
    …Love your “gobbledygook” and “stinky-links!” 🙂

  5. Oh, I don’t know anything about purchase commissions. You may need more of the gobbledygook for that to work, so you can just try deleting it all after the “?”, and if that doesn’t work leave a little more of the gobbledygook each time. (p.s. you know you can edit comments, too, like deleting a duplicate?)

  6. So, this is interesting. I copied everything from the ? mark back to the start (leaving out everything from “crid” and beyond, pasted it in the link checker and got the same notification. But, when I pasted that into a Google search engine, it took me right to the page to order them. If I go with that, but Amazon doesn’t recognize the short link, only the long one, I think we may only get commissions from the one the link checker recognized, which looks a mile long. That’s all strange to me. Ugh

  7. As an example, and I’m not looking at any numbers at the moment, if someone buys a $15 book, the commission could be something like 50 cents (just guessing). Of course, electronics like a computer would be a bit more. The links are connected to our associate ID. When I copy a link to an item in their “link checker,” I am either informed that it is successfully linked to us or it failed for an unknown reason, which is our pickle with the glasses short link, but the long one is linked to us. Yes, we could leave gobbledygooks and see if it works as we go.
Yep, I knew that about the editing. : ) Thank you so much for visiting us, the advice, and your enjoyable words. : )

  8. I was so excited when I saw his wings. He’s such an angel. Thank you for that. And then I saw that the beautiful photos were for me, so thank you again. Murph is one lucky lizard. Loved by so many and taken care of by the best lizard mom ever. What a wonderful post, and he does know how to pose for us. LOL Thank you again ❤️ Hugs to Murph.

  13. It does. It did while doing this, anyway. Despite some shorts & tank top weather days, it’s a coat and scarf day today. Crazy weather. Thanks, Maggie. Hope you two are warm… or cold but happy wherever you are.🙂
