I’m not sure about the rest of the world, but in North America, we’ve been bombarded with advertisements by a company called Temu.
It appears that companies as these are thriving financially on those who want to buy a lot of little things, of which I presume lend nothing toward lasting happiness or survival, or additional jobs for their fellow countrymen (there’s nothing wrong with countries caring for their own before helping other countries, because a sinking ship can save no one on board or anyone else).
People are buying a lot from Temu because the prices are so low – mysteriously low.
Has anyone wondered what gives here? If this shopping source can sell items so inexpensively, why aren’t others doing so to maintain a fair and capitalist market? A capitalist market is how the majority of businesses around the world can succeed, after all.
But, we won’t get into the devaluation of the dollar and other currencies, or family owned businesses (even a lone person who laser engraves for passive income) competing with their quality against inexpensive, mass-produced food or products, nor will we discuss the aspect in there of demand and supply or how when many people declare “Capitalism is evil,” they really are complaining about corporatism, and don’t know the difference. they don’t realize what type of life they’re asking for in thinking they want capitalism gone. Oopsy… on with the subject.
Since were not discussing that stuff, let’s mention the possibilities as to why Temu’s prices are so low:
- Poor working conditions for the laborers (i.e. unjust pay, no air conditioning, ungodly hours, etc.)?
- Perhaps child labor?
- Genius large company-minded, profit-making individuals “at the top?”
- Implemented market strategies that somehow not many other intelligent people have figured out?
- Psyops experiment of sorts?
- A government plot to evoke the masses to perpetually purchase and purchase insignificant items to further destroy the middle class, thus creating a modern day lordship / serfdom scenario because when we deplete our abilities to obtain what counts in exchange for frivolous things, we haven’t resources where it counts?😉Well, it’s possible.
I don’t know, what do you think?
Someone texted me a screenshot of a Temu ad. Knowing my love for lizards and having been a caretaker of Murph while I’m away from home, she thought I’d just adore this:

It is cute, and I struggled with a fleeting anthropomorphic urge to clothe Murph in kingly attire, which would play perfectly on our post: I Am The Lizard King.
But, if something seems too good to be true, it just might be. I know that if one makes a small percentage of a profit per item, yet sells a high quantity of items, a fortune can be made. So, what are those behind Temu doing that is so right… or terribly wrong.
Take a look again at that screenshot.
Zoom in.
Do you notice anything wrong with that sweet bearded dragon?
This neglected, possibly mistreated model has something wrong, and it appears to have mouth rot. Now, if a company is of good merit, making a lot of money, can’t they access a happy, healthy animal to do their cheap stuff modeling?
Sure, prices that Temu offers seem good for us, but these prices don’t make sense. They’ve obviously tapped into the psychology of the masses by beating their brand into our brains, followed by targeted ads of sparkly shoes and attire for animals aimed toward women, or specifically me. “Stop it, Temu, I’m not giving in!!”
I don’t want to see a good company fail. Companies need to make money because people need to afford goods to survive. People can then afford healthcare, purchase necesseties (okay, and maybe splurge on a battle jacket for their lizard from a crafty person), and circulate money throuought the economy, which helps everyone.

*I tried and I tried to locate the source of this photo that we had in our media collection. I wish I could tell you all where to find this adorable battle jacket for metal music lovers. I saw a similar one on Ebay, but it was sold out.
I am not declaring that Temu is a bad company, I’m just saying that if something seems too good, ask questions and research. Things read online and in books may be true, entirely false, part truth, contain intended misconceptions or lies by omission.
Here’s one website we found regarding Temu. But, there are lots more. And, guess what we saw there – another Temu advertisement!!😆 – Relentless

Many families use the same, single toothpaste tube. when someone begins to think they may have a cold, we don’t need to contaminate the tip of the tube with residual toothbrush germs. with washed hands, smear a dab of toothpaste onto a fingertip, then onto the toothbrush & rerinse that fingertip. maybe others will catch it regardless, but at least, hopefully, not that way.
