What A Little Faker

We are outside at this moment.

No, this fella’s not asleep!

He is just in a form of ‘shut down mode’…

If any lizard parents know what I’m talking about, I’d LOVE to know your stories!

Lizards are opinionated, stubborn, smart, and sweet, for those who don’t know this about them.

Our Lil’ Murph here, is a prime example!

Why do they ‘fake it’?

1. They are bored.
2. They are sleepy, but not asleep.
3. They are overstimulated, and want things to calm down, and possibly for you to go away.
4. They want cuddle time and to sleep in your embrace, and are not getting you to understand because you are propping them up to take photos.

It is up to you to know your lizard, and what he or she means by such behavior. Be observant & good luck figuring it out.
