There’s no question about what Lil’ Murph wants here.

*A note about the video: If you think some lizards can’t be potty trained, this isn’t so. But Murph wasn’t trained. Sometimes lizards just have preferences, in his case, demands. If lizards want out of their enclosures or to go outside, it’s either that simple (for exercise, cuddles, or sunlight & mental stimulation), or… they don’t want to potty in their enclosures, or even their houses. In this case, after I stopped filming, I stood over Murph in the front yard for him to do a potty. But lizard demands are a discussion for another time.

Murph is very serious about getting outdoors!

“Now, if I pretzel myself thusly, I might be capable of raising this screen.”
“That didn’t work. What can I accomplish at the sliding doors?”
“I’m at the non-opening side now, aren’t I?”
“Okay, the screen is the final obstacle. Hmph, my ‘climby’ is not giving me the leverage I require.”
“Now if I can just get the right angle, I think I can get my right foot claws to grab the screen door and slide it.”
“Alright… how about YOU slide the screen and we go outside?”
